Titan Worldwide Appoints New Sales Manager in Chicago
Former Daily News Group Publisher Shareef Dajani to Head Sales Team with New Digital Inventory

New York, NY – July 10, 2008 – To further bolster an already strong Chicago sales office, Titan Worldwide has hired Shareef Dajani as Chicago Sales Manager starting July 1, 2008. . Mr. Dajani is a proven motivator and revenue generator and his addition enhances an already strong team.

Titan holds the rights for the Chicago Transit Authority’s Bus and Rail Advertising agreement. In April of this year, Titan was also awarded a 10-year contract to sell digital advertising for the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA).  Mr. Dajani will be responsible for leading the Titan sales efforts in the second largest public transit system in the U.S. as the company begins rolling out its digital inventory, along with its stellar static media products.

Mr. Dajani has displayed his versatility during his 14-year career at Knight Ridder Inc., one of the largest media companies in the U.S. He joined the company as an Account Executive and moved up through the ranks holding multiple managerial positions. For six years he was responsible for print advertising sales and initiated a number on important revenue initiatives program that generated significant in incremental revenue in just one year.

In 2005, Mr. Dajani was appointed publisher of the Daily News Group run by Knight Ridder, where he oversaw the papers transition through its acquisition by the McClatchy Company in June 2006. Following Knight Ridder, Mr. Dajani took a position with Media News Group as Vice President of Targeted Publications in the San Francisco Bay Area.  There he helped to integrate and manage the California Newspaper Partnership’s strategic marketing alliances and communications functions for all publications and events.

Mr. Dajani received his bachelor’s degree in mass communications from California State University in Sacramento.
