SIGA to Present At The Homeland Security Investor Conference

New York, New York, October 14, 2008 -- SIGA Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIGA), a

company specializing in the development of pharmaceutical agents to fight bio-warfare

pathogens, today announced that its CEO, Dr. Eric A. Rose, will be presenting at The Homeland

Security Investor Conference on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in

Washington, D.C.

The conference, hosted by Imperial Capital, Capital Source and Civitas Group, will be attended

by 30 prominent homeland security companies. Dr. Rose will give a 20-minute presentation

regarding SIGA Technologies' market positioning, financial performance, and strategic direction,
