HENRY BROS. ELECTRONICS APPOINTS RICHARD ROCKWELL VICE CHAIRMAN OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS

FAIR LAWN, N.J., December 4, 2008 -- Henry Bros. Electronics, Inc.(NASDAQ: HBE),a turnkey provider of technology-based integrated electronic security solutions,today announced that Richard D. Rockwell, 53, has been named Vice Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors and has joined the Company’s Executive Committee as Chairman. Rockwell has served on Henry Bros. Board of Directors since November 2007.
Rockwell is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Professional Security Technologies (“PST”), a position that he has held since 1996. Together with its subsidiaries, PST offers complete security solutions, including electronic systems integration and interactive remote monitoring. Prior to his involvement with PST, Rockwell was President and Chief Executive Officer of Professional Security Bureau Ltd., a security services organization with operations on the East Coast. Concurrently, he was Chairman of Transnational Security Group, which provided a national security services platform for affiliated regional security companies. Rockwell is also the former Vice President, Legal Affairs, of Metropolitan Maintenance Company, and holds a Juris Doctorate from the Western New England College of Law.
