New Grand Junction Office Marks Company’s Continued Expansion in the Rocky Mountain Region
FAIR LAWN, N.J., Feb. 17, 2009 -- Henry Bros. Electronics, Inc.(NASDAQ: HBE),a turnkey provider of technology-based integrated electronic security solutions, announced today that it has opened a new office in Grand Junction, Colorado. With offices already established in Denver and Colorado Springs, the new Grand Junction office enables the Company to enhance its regional footprint and to serve the needs of the many oil and gas companies and ski resorts operating in the area.
“Since entering the Colorado market, we recognized growing demand for our security services by a number of companies, especially those operating within the commercial and military markets,” stated Jim Henry, Chief Executive Officer of Henry Brothers. “As we continued to grow our client base over the years to meet the needs of other industries operating in the region, we recognized the need to expand our presence within the area. Today, we are the only major security integrator with offices in the Grand Junction region, and our sales team plans to leverage this presence as much as possible in the near future.”
The Grand Junction office, is located at 462 Glen Road, Grand Junction Colorado, and has already begun serving the area’s leading oil and gas companies. New Senior Project Manager Jim Jacoban has played a significant role in the rapid startup of the new office, and brings over 20 years of experience managing multi-million dollar projects to Henry Bros. Jacoban’s previous experience includes tenures at Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, Lockheed Martin, and Johnson Controls, Inc.
John Seckman, General Manager of the Henry Bros. Colorado Division, commented on the new location, stating, “This was a logical new strategic location for us, as Western Colorado is a large growth market for Henry Bros. Opening an office in the largest city in Western Colorado improves our regional footprint, and puts us in a position to benefit from having boots on the ground in a part of the country that continues to attract both tourism and development. Our office already supports the security needs of the many ski resorts operating in the Rocky Mountain area, and much of our early success is due to our ability to recruit Jim Jacoban to our team. Our entire team is excited about Jim’s addition, and we look forward to continuing to generate new business.”
